Communication Strategy and Issue Management (CSI) – Part Time Worker
Students should have focus in the areas of communications, agriculture communications, journalism or a related field. Experience and aptitude in social media, and strong writing skills are required. Also, knowledge of still photography, and video photography and video production a must. Intern will assist CSI staff in their work on several programs, activities and functions, including media relations, issues management, production of broadcast stories and management of public relations campaigns and events. This includes writing and multi-media skills.

The Education Specialist engages Nebraskans – primarily students – to understand the value of Nebraska agriculture through interactive lessons and hands-on activities.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of Nebraska agriculture and the ability to deliver scripted agriculture lessons that are entertaining, engaging, and educational. A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or education is required. Experience teaching youth in a formal or informal education setting and knowledge of academic and/or vocational education curricula is preferred.
